Free Garden Tour of Wortley Hall Gardens during June, August and October
Enjoy a Wednesday afternoon stroll, led by the Head Gardener, around these Grade II listed Italianate gardens. Within the 11 acres of formal Gardens you will find a great deal to interest the keen horticulturist - a 100 metre long Peace Walk planted with herbaceous perennials on one side and old English Roses on the other. A Lavender walk which becomes a sea of deep blue in June and July visited by honey bees and butterflies in their thousands as well as sunken garden planted with dwarf Azaleas and Rhododendrons are just a few of the treasures that you can explore.
Tours take place every Wednesday and start at 2pm outside the main reception door. Cost £2.50 per person.
This voucher allows 2 people to go on the tour for the price of one during the months of June, August and October. Please quote GOSYWH1 when booking or present the voucher on arrival.
