A Century of Sheffield Art
This exhibition will provide an opportunity to see and purchase work by Sheffield painters of the 20th Century.
Showing in the Long Gallery of Musuems Sheffield:Millennium Galleries, from 11th-13th October before moving to the Exhibit Gallery in Rowsley, Derbyshire.
A Century of Sheffield Art promises to be one of the most comprehensive retrospectives of work by Sheffield artists of the twentieth century ever seen in the city. Over one hundred work will be on display by artists such as Stanley Royle, HE Allen, David Jagger, George Hamilton Constantine, Derrick Greaves, Brain Fielding, John Hoyland, George Cunningham, Joe Scarborough and many more. It will also incorporate the launch of Stanley Royle: Catalogue of Works by Timothy Dickson - a major new publication from Derwent-Wye Fine Art Ltd.
The exhibition is open Saturday 11th October 10am to 4pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm, Monday 13th October 9am - 11am for viewing by societies & clubs.
The exhibition is presented by Derwent-Wye Fine Art Ltd, in assocation with MJArt and sponsored by Hart Shaw Chartered Accountants with the Catalogue sponsored by Hiscox Insurance Company, CCMH Insurance Brokers and Northend Creative Print.
