Heritage Inspired launch latest Walks Trail
Heritage Inspired, South Yorkshire's Faith Tourism Initiative, has launched its latest trail leaflet.
Discover 5 rural churches in the lowlands of north Doncaster. The 4 waterway walks are a series of fascinating short walks that cover between 1.1 and 3.9 miles each (one way). Visiting the churches of Hatfield St Lawrence, Barnby Dun St Peter and St Paul, Kirk Sandall St Oswald, Kirk Bramwith St Mary and Fishlake St Cuthbert en route.
Most of the route is along ancient footpaths and bridleways, many of which follow the routes of 2 waterways. The route is very flat and there are rest and refreshment stops along the route. See the map for full details.
