Yorkshire South is located at the very centre of the UK so no matter where you are travelling from, the region is truly accessible.

By Train
There are mainline stations in Sheffield and Doncaster which provide fast direct links to Scotland, London and regional towns.  From November 2007, the new Eurostar terminal will be open at St Pancras providing visitors from Europe an alternative to flying to the region with journey times of less than 5 hours from Paris. 

By Road
For visitors travelling by road Yorkshire South is where the country’s most important motorways, including the M1, M62 and A1(M) meet.   Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster all boast excellent car parking facilities, with well signposted routes to make life simple.

By Air
Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield airport, the UK’s newest international airport is less than 10 miles from the centre of Doncaster and is served by more than 40 European and long haul destinations so it’s never been easier to reach the Yorkshire South region.

Leeds/Bradford Airport and Nottingham East Midlands are also well served by both European and long haul destinations and it takes only around 60 minutes to reach Yorkshire South by road.

Manchester International Airport, one of the UK’s busiest airports is just across the Pennines and has a regular rail service straight into Sheffield.
