Confex Familiarisation Visit
The weekend of Friday 30th November - Sunday 2nd December 2007 saw Yorkshire South Tourism host its first conference buyers Familiarisation Visit.
Thirty attendees, which Conference Yorkshire South met at International Confex back in February last year, completed an action packed itinerary, enjoying dining at Conference 21 at Hallam University as well as experiencing one of Magna's renowned Christmas parties; a comedy performance at Sheffield City Hall; ice skating and climbing at Doncaster Dome; a visit to Chatsworth House and an afternoon's horse racing at Doncaster Racecourse before taking a well deserved rest in either the Novotel Sheffield or the Holiday Inn Sheffield Royal Victoria.
All of the clients, who were predominantly from London and the Midlands, said they would now, having visited Yorkshire South consider booking a venue or recommend to a client or colleague.
