Sheffield Hallam University Professor Attracts First Ambassador Event
Professor Steve Haake, Head of Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University has helped to secure a two day national conference for Sheffield. SkillsActive, the sector skills council for active leisure and learning are to hold their National Conference at Sheffield City Hall on 3rd and 4th September 2008. Following an introductory meeting between Skills Active, YST and Professor Haake a free venue serach was undertaken and a bid to host the event was submitted.
