SKillsActive Confirm Again
Following the initial referral by Professor Steve Haake, Head of Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, the Yorkshire South Conference Ambassador Programme has confirmed a second event run by SkillsActive, the sector skills council for active leisure and learning. The bid to host the SkillsActive Staff Conference and team bulding event was submitted back in April following a series of site visits. "The Yorkshire South bid was one of three submitted, the other two being venues within London and Loughborogh so I was thrilled when we received notification of our success" Gemma Bradshaw, Ambassador Manager.
The SkillsActive company away day and team bulding is to be held at Magna, Rotherham with delegates staying in hotels within Sheffield City Centre.
